Three young Aboriginal students at Evans River K-12 School in northern NSW have jumped at the opportunity to take part in a new hairdressing course introduced at the school this academic year.

And on completion of the academic year course, the students can apply for a hairdressing apprenticeship if they want to pursue a career in the industry.
