Tensions at Doomadgee ease as community holds police protest

A peaceful protest and positive talks have defused tensions in the far north Queensland Indigenous community of Doomadgee.
About 100 people marched through the streets of Doomadgee in the Gulf of Carpentaria last week to protest the arrest of a man accused of breaking a female police officer's nose.
