Federal Parliamentarian, physician and president of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Council of Australia (ADCA), Mal Washer said the turning of a blind eye to horrific Aboriginal incarceration rates has to end. He said enough is enough.

Western Australia's prisons are over-crowded and with deteriorating conditions and the State's Prison Officers Union has warned the situation cannot continue unless the State Government agrees to commit more resources and higher wages for guards.
