pat eatockIn this modern day, I would like to state that I never use the words 'tribe', 'tribes', or 'tribal' when referring to the Aboriginal peoples of Australia. These words are archaic and belong in the dustbin with other words that hark back to colonialism and nationalism. They have no place in contemporary multicultural Australia because they are belittling to Aboriginal people and demeaning to our progress for equality...
