Anger over Moree GM’s sacking

ISSUE 1, February 27, 2002: A farewell dinner was held for Vince Paparo, former General Manager of the Moree Plains Shire Council last week. Mr Paparo’s departure was met with disappointment and anger by many in the Moree community. “We believe the council sacking was unjust and unwarranted. Vince has done a remarkable job in bringing about change and progress in our community,” Lyall Munro, Chairperson of the Kamilaroi Regional Council said.
