Preston Campbell leads call against players’ threat to boycott All Stars

AllStars Preston_CampbellRugby League's most admired Indigenous figure Preston Campbell has called on NRL stars not to boycott February's All Stars match over the pay dispute with the NRL.

The former Titans hero, who came up with the All Stars concept, said it was unreasonable to punish fans.

"This is more than just another game of football," Campbell said. "We don't play for two competition...

Jie Pittman named NSWRL Indigenous volunteer of the year

jieJie Pittman has been named the NSWRL Indigenous Volunteer of the Year.

The 33 year old was recognised for a long list of voluntary work in western Sydney, including helping to develop the Western Sydney Indigenous Sports Academy.

NSWRL chairman, John Chalk had a simple message for Pittman and the many other volunteers at the gala event this month.
