The Auckland Nines rugby league pre-season tournament will have an earlier start next year.
Event organisers confirmed the 2015 event would be held on the weekend of January 31 and February 1, about two weeks earlier than the successful inaugural tournament at Eden Park in 2014.
NRL, Duco Events and Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development said there would be prizemoney of more than $2.4 million.
All 16 NRL teams will attend again and the squad size will be increased from 16 to 18.
