About the role

Youth Justice Conference Convenors prepare for and facilitate Youth Justice Conferences following the principles of restorative justice. It is a statutory appointee responsible for the preparation and facilitation of Youth Justice Conferences in local communities with offenders, victims, support people, police and others affected by the offence.
